(8-Hour) Initial Security Officer Certification Course Designed for (New Guards):
This 8-hour course includes 4 hours of online “Powers to Arrest” instruction and 4 hours of in-person “Appropriate Use of Force” training. It is the first mandatory course required by the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) for individuals seeking to become licensed security guards in California.
